Preventing damage of Android Hardware Buttons

Hardware buttons are very useful in smartphones. These buttons includes the volume buttons, power button and the home button. The most used button in android is the home button. Smart Screen ON - I'm using this app for my Samsung Galaxy S4. This app will give you the ability to turn-on the screen of your phone whitout using power buttons. This will prevent damage on your power button as well as in your home button. This app requires your phone to have proximity sensor. Please see your phone's manual if the Proximity Sensor is supported by your device. Example of its feature is by waving your hand near the proximity sensor and your device will turn-on / turn-off the screen.

Easy Touch - Smart screen On is only for turning on and off your device screen but Easy touch do a different job. With Easy touch, you can navigate your phone without touching the home button. Easy touch can also be used to increase the volume of your phone, let say your listening to the music, or can be use as menu button and back button. Easy touch also has many themes that you can choose, just go to Easy touch developer page (Shere Workshop) in Playstore.

So to prevent damage on your Android's Harware buttons, you can download this apps or if you find apps that is better than this, you can use that too. To give you a summary, Smart Screen ON is used to replace your Power Button while the Easy touch will replace your Home buttons and Volume buttons.
