Boom Beach Tips - Minimizing available loot.

This is a handful guide on how to minimized the loot available in your base if someone scouted or attacked you. This guide includes the secrets behind the boats and the Vault. I'm using these techniques for myself and it maybe useful for you too.

Upgrade your Vault

A good way to minimized the loot available in your base is by upgrading the Vault. The Vault holds a fraction of your resources that the enemy player cannot steal. It can also protect a certain percentage of resources in your Storages. Note that the Vault percentage does not cover the resources present in the Resource Production buildings(Residence, Sawmill, Quarry and Iron mine) meaning the enemy can steal 100% resources contained on these buildings.

Resources on Boats

Although it looks intimidating, don't collect resources in your boat so often as these resources will be transferred to your Storages The point is, enemy invaders cannot steal resources that is in your boats, meaning that they are safer there. These also applies to Submarine treasures, Daily rewards and Operations Rewards boats. Collect those resources if you needed them. Please note that resource boats have maximum capacity so at least collect them every 8 hours.

Only raid when you're about to upgrade something

I know that this sounds boring but if you're having a hard time earning resources for an upgrade, you should limit yourself in raiding. In Boom Beach, you can only construct/upgrade one building at a time. Also, unlike Clash of Clans, Boom Beach will not give you free shield when someone wiped out your base. When you raided an enemy base successfully, you earn rewards and those rewards will go straight to your Storages. For this reason, the available loot in your base will increase unless you spend that resources to an upgrade before you go offline. So my advice is to raid only if you're soon to start a new upgrade saving the resources that is present in the enemy bases on your map.
